How these numbers are made
- Property tax uses the Wisconsin DOR 2025 effective full-value rate of 0.01607 for the City of Waupaca (net of the state school levy credit), applied to the Census median home value of $175,600. Lottery and first dollar credits are not subtracted.

- Water: $6.11 monthly service charge for a 5/8-inch meter plus the public fire protection charge of $0.05933 per $1,000 of assessed valuation, applied to an assessed value of the $175,600 Census median times the 0.88 DOR 2025 assessment ratio for the City of Waupaca (about $154,500; actual charge follows each home's assessment); volume tiers per 1,000 gallons as in the February 2025 sheet. Sewer: $24.94 monthly plus $3.80 per 1,000 gallons of water used. The Feb. 2025 sheet is the rate sheet posted on the city site; no newer one was found.
