How these numbers are made
  • Property tax uses the 2025 net rate of $12.343525 per $1,000 of assessed value for the Neenah school district area (rate sheet column 3892) on $248,100, the Census median home value; the village's 2025 assessment ratio is 100.1019772%, so assessed is about market. In the Menasha school area the net rate is $16.343853 and in the Appleton area $12.801681; the Neenah column is assumed to be the largest and was not verified by home counts. The lottery and first dollar credits are listed in the credits using the Neenah column amounts; the rate sheet does not say who qualifies, so see the village credit form.
  • Water: quarterly base charges of $21.63 water service plus $17.91 public fire protection for a 5/8-inch meter, divided by 3 to monthly; quarterly volume breakpoints of 6,000 and 16,000 gallons divided by 3 to monthly. Sewer: $33.38 quarterly base divided by 3, plus $5.33 volume and $0.38 lateral repair fund per 1,000 gallons. Stormwater is $40 a quarter for single family homes, shown as $13.33 a month. Both Fox Crossing water systems use the same rate sheet.
  • Refuse pick up is a $220 charge on the 2025 tax rate sheet, shown as $18.33 a month (220 / 12) and counted once.
  • Electric: We Energies Rg1 energy charge plus fuel cost adjustment and environmental control charge, daily customer charge annualised to monthly. Gas: Rg-1 daily customer charge annualised plus the effective rate per therm. Parts of the village buy electricity from Menasha Utilities; We Energies is used as the main provider.
  • No Fox Crossing water use figure is published, so the page default is used. Insurance is not included because no Wisconsin source for the village was found.
  • Nothing here is legal, tax or insurance advice.
