1. What POTUS is
POTUS (“the Service”, “we”) is operated by Veronata, Inc., 2261 Market Street STE 22406, San Francisco, CA 94114. It is a fictional political-satire game. You type imaginary policies and AI-generated fictional characters react to them. Everything in the game — reactions, headlines, events, quotes, scores, and outcomes — is invented entertainment. Nothing in the Service is news, political analysis, a prediction, or a statement of fact.
2. Satire and real people
The game references real public figures (such as current and former U.S. presidents) solely as subjects of parody and satire, a use protected under the First Amendment. POTUS is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any real person, political party, campaign, or government body. No statement the game attributes to any figure was actually made by them.
3. Your content
You are responsible for the text you submit. Don’t submit content that is unlawful, that harasses or threatens real people, or that constitutes hate speech; we filter and may block such input, and may suspend access for abuse. By submitting text you grant us a license to process it, generate responses to it, store it, and display it back to you (including in share cards you choose to create).
4. Acceptable use
You may not abuse the Service — including automated scraping, bulk requests, attempting to bypass rate limits or content filters, probing or reverse-engineering the AI endpoints, or presenting game output as real statements by real people.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. It is an alpha product: features may change, break, or disappear, and saved games may be reset. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.
6. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
