How these numbers are made
  • Property tax uses Brown County's 2025 tax rate table for the Village of Suamico in the Howard-Suamico School District: village $2.70, school $7.75 less the state school credit $1.49, county $2.76 and NWTC $0.53 per $1,000, on the Census median home value of $366,900. The equalization ratio is 0.9927, so assessed value is close to market value. Part of the village is in the Pulaski school district.
  • The $40 storm water fee per residential equivalent unit is on the yearly tax bill under special charges; one unit is assumed for a typical house. The $195 a year garbage and recycling fee (the village's 2026 level) is also on the tax roll and is shown as $16.25 a month.
  • Water is $4.18 per 1,000 gallons plus the $30 quarterly 3/4-inch service charge ($10 a month). Sewer is $10.88 per 1,000 gallons plus the $18.47 quarterly fixed charge for a 3/4-inch meter ($6.16 a month). The village's budget lists a higher water rate after its new well and treatment project is built; the 2026 statement rate is used.
  • Typical water use of 6.24 CCF (14,000 gallons per quarter) a month is the village's stated average household use.
  • Electricity and gas are WPS year-round residential rates (customer charge $0.58915 a day; energy $0.14802 plus fuel $0.00107 per kWh; gas $17 a month plus $0.4433 per therm). Typical use is WPS's 2024 residential sales per customer from EIA.
