How these numbers are made
  • Property tax: DOR's 2025 Town, Village and City Taxes report for the City of Plymouth (district 59271): county, city, school and technical college levies divided by the city's state full value of $1,225,281,200; the school levy is net of the $1,210,435 school levy tax credit. These are citywide averages on equalized value, applied to the Census median home value.
  • Water: $9.43 meter charge plus $10.81 public fire protection a month for a 5/8-inch meter, then $3.32, $2.78, $2.50 and $2.22 per 100 cubic feet. Sewer: $9.93 a month plus $3.66 per 100 cubic feet.
  • Electric: Rg-1 at $15.00 a month plus $0.1095 per kWh. Plymouth Utilities also adds a monthly power cost adjustment that varies and is not in the total. Typical use is the EIA Wisconsin average of 645 kWh.
  • Garbage and recycling: the 2025 adopted budget letter lists a $100.63 garbage special fee and a $38.97 recycling special fee on the tax bill ($139.60 a year), counted once in tax.fixed. The 10-year phase-in raises it each year, so the 2026 amount is somewhat higher; the 2026 adopted budget letter was not found. The Waste Management contract runs through December 31, 2026.
  • The city stormwater utility fee (a separate city fund) has no published residential rate on the city's site or in the budget letter, so it is not in the total. Natural gas and insurance are not included.
  • Nothing here is legal, tax or insurance advice.
