Keizer property tax: where it goes

A Keizer house pays 1.687% of its taxable value in property tax, plus flat charges on the same bill. For a house at $226,090 of value before exemptions, that's about $3,863 a year.

Tax is levied on taxable assessed value: under Measure 50, the maximum assessed value of unchanged property grows at most 3% a year, so assessed value is usually well below real market value.
