Las Vegas Valley Water District

Las Vegas Valley Water District single-family rates for a 5/8-inch meter, including the Southern Nevada Water Authority charges on the same bill: daily service charge $0.4627 plus SNWA daily infrastructure charge $0.5657 (x 30 days = $30.85), and four tiers per 1,000 gallons ($1.61, $2.87, $4.27, $6.33) each plus the $0.67 SNWA commodity charge

Most of the water, about 90 percent, comes from Lake Mead, according to the Water District's 2026 water quality report (2025 data).
Lead
The Water District says its modern water system does not contain lead service lines or lead-based components.

Sewer

City of Las Vegas sewer service fees for single-family residences are billed quarterly. From Jan. 1, 2027 the fee for a single-family residence (no pool) rises by $7.52 a quarter, or $30.06 per year; the City lists $396.60 for a single-family residence from that date.
