Virgin Valley Water District
Virgin Valley Water District monthly culinary water rates for Fiscal Year 2027 (July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027): a ¾-inch meter pays a $31.45 water base charge and a $5.30 debt service surcharge a month, the base rate includes the first 2,000 gallons, and use above that is charged per 1,000 gallons in four blocks (3-6, 7-18, 19-54 and 55+ thousand gallons)

Sewer
City of Mesquite sewer user fees effective January 1, 2025 (Resolution 950): an annual total of $179.94 ($15.00 a month) for operation and maintenance, debt service and account charges; sewer is billed in advance each quarter.
Ways to pay less
- Virgin Valley Water District smart irrigation timer rebate. The District's one financial incentive is a rebate for replacing an irrigation timer with a smart timer, paid by check for up to $50 based on the cost of the new timer. How: Send the District photos of the old timer and the new timer and the purchase receipt.
- WaterSmart leak alerts from Virgin Valley Water District. Virgin Valley Water District uses the email addresses in its billing system so WaterSmart can notify customers of continuous water use above 20 gallons per hour for at least 24 hours at a property. The District will not forgive any portion of a water bill due to leaks.
