The rate is set by the size of the gray garbage cart; the bundled rate includes the recycling and organics carts.

Contact Sonoma County Resource Recovery at (707) 795-7470 (Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm) and ask for a service change, or choose Service Change in its customer service form.

Ways to pay less

• Seniors 62+: 10% off garbage (20- or 32-gallon cart). Sonoma County Resource Recovery gives a 10 percent monthly discount to customers age 62 or older. The applicant must be the primary account holder and a Windsor resident, subscribe to the 20- or 32-gallon landfill cart, and submit proof of age. • Two free curbside clean-ups a year. Twice per year, at no charge, residents of Windsor can schedule the collection of unwanted materials such as large/bulky items; furniture and mattresses and box springs are among the permitted items. Pickups should be no less than 30 days apart. How: Call customer service at (707) 795-7470 to schedule your curbside clean-up.
• Water efficient landscape rebate: $1 per square foot. The Town offers $1.00 per square foot up to $1,500 for removing turf, and up to $500 of the total cost of irrigation equipment upgrades. Sites with recycled water do not qualify, and a pre-approval inspection is required before work starts. How: Email water.smart1@scwa.ca.gov or call (707) 547-1909 for a pre-approval appointment.
