Electricity: SDG&E delivery with Clean Energy Alliance generation

All Oceanside residents are automatically enrolled in Clean Energy Alliance's Clean Impact Plus option, with the option to opt down or opt out; CEA's generation charges and SDG&E's delivery charges come on one SDG&E bill. For a typical residential TOU-DR1 customer in Clean Energy Alliance using 346 kWh a month (12 months of billing history, rates as of August 1, 2026), Clean Impact Plus totals $0.49874 per kWh, an average monthly bill of $172.56; the Clean Impact plan is $0.45903 per kWh, $158.82 a month. SDG&E's Base Services Charge is $0.79343 per day.

Gas: SDG&E

SDG&E's bundled residential average gas rate for March 2026, $2.768 per therm, which includes gas transportation, the Public Purpose Program Surcharge and gas commodity costs. Commodity rates are set monthly and may be higher or lower. The CPUC lists SDG&E's residential fixed charge as $0.13 per day (non-CARE, September 2025).

Ways to pay less
