Victoria trash pickup: cost and carts
Residents contract individually with a garbage hauler licensed by the city. Licensed haulers (open hauling).
Victoria's city utility bill covers water, sewer and stormwater, not trash; your hauler's price is not included here.
Ways to pay less
- Water-efficient appliance and fixture rebates. The city's Utility Rebate Program offers up to $100 for an ENERGY STAR certified clothes washer or dishwasher, up to $100 per WaterSense toilet and up to $50 per WaterSense shower head or faucet. How: Approved rebates are applied as a credit to your city utility bill; see the city's rebate page for the applications.
