Victoria electricity and gas rates

Who supplies power and gas to Victoria houses and what a typical house uses: about 587.82 kWh of electricity and 62 therms of gas a month.

Electricity: Xcel Energy

Xcel Energy Minnesota residential customers paid an average of 16.98¢ per kWh in 2024 (EIA: residential revenue divided by kWh sold). The model uses 15.96¢ because the $6.00 monthly basic charge is counted separately: it is taken out of that revenue before dividing by kWh sold; the standard residential basic service charge is $6.00 a month. Victoria is on Xcel's list of Minnesota communities it serves with electricity; the city says two electric providers serve Victoria, Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative and Xcel Energy.
