Andover trash pickup: cost and carts
Andover is an open hauler city; residents choose and pay a City-licensed hauler directly. City-licensed haulers: Ace Solid Waste, Curbside Waste, LePage & Sons, Republic Services, Walters Recycling & Refuse.
Andover has no City trash service: you hire one of the five licensed haulers, and its price is not included in the totals. Add your hauler's bill. Anoka County's $24.02 solid waste management charge on the property tax bill is included under property tax.
Ways to pay less
- Free paper shredding at the Andover Recycling Center. On recycling event days (the second Saturday of most months) the Andover Recycling Center, 1825 Crosstown Blvd., shreds up to 3 boxes of paper at no charge; appliances, electronics and mattresses are collected for a fee. How: 2026 event dates include November 14 and December 12, 9 am to 1 pm.
