Satellite Beach trash pickup: cost and carts
Not in the total: WM's monthly charge is on the City of Melbourne utility bill, and we could not find the current rate. Waste Management (WM) collects.
We could not find a current rate, so trash is not counted in the total. The April 15, 2026 renewal packet shows a starting rate of $14.38 a month (06/01/16); the rate may be raised each June by CPI (1%–5%) when WM asks, and no CPI rate increase will be applied on June 1, 2026.
Ways to pay less
- Free pickup of tires, appliances and electronics. Under the city's contract, WM collects residential automobile tires (up to four a year per home), white goods and e-waste at no additional charge when you schedule it. How: Contact WM by phone or online to schedule the pickup.
