Casselberry electricity and gas rates
Who supplies power to Casselberry houses and what a typical house uses: about 1104 kWh of electricity a month. Bills include a 10% City of Casselberry public service tax.
Electricity: Duke Energy Florida
Duke Energy is running a grid improvement project in the Casselberry area to improve reliability of service to its customers, and the city tells residents to call Duke Energy before removing a downed tree touching a power line. Duke Energy Florida RS-1 residential rates effective October 1, 2026: $14.43 customer charge a month; non-fuel energy charges are higher December through February than March through November and higher above 1,000 kWh. Fuel charges and cost recovery factors (energy conservation, capacity, environmental, asset securitization, storm protection plan) from Rate Schedule BA-1 are added per kWh. The minimum monthly bill is $30.
