Single-family homes are typically issued two 95-gallon carts; there is no separate recycling cart, because Advance Disposal hand-sorts recyclables from the trash at its recovery facility.

Ways to pay less
- One cart: low volume trash rate. Advance Disposal offers a low volume rate to City of Hesperia customers who need only one trash can. On the rate card effective July 1, 2026, low volume service (1 cart) is $35.35, against $38.33 for regular residential service (2 carts).
