Woonsocket Water Division
Rates effective 7/1/2025 (RIPUC Docket No. 25-01-WW): $7.02 per 100 cubic feet, plus a quarterly customer service charge of $29.34 for a 5/8-inch meter and, for services in the City of Woonsocket, a $22.62 quarterly fire protection charge. The city's rate schedule also lists two state surcharges, $.079 and $.14 per hundred cubic feet. Bills are quarterly.

- Surface water from the Crookfall Brook and Harris Pond watersheds; Harris Pond is a supplemental source used as needed.

- 2025 reporting violation: the consumer confidence report was submitted on July 7, 2025, after the July 1 deadline.
Sewer
The residential sewer rate is $421.32 per unit, per year. Sewer payments are due quarterly: September 30, December 15, March 15 and June 15.
Ways to pay less
- Free water conservation kit. The Water Department gives out a free kit with a low-flow showerhead, 2 sink aerators, a toilet tank bank and a leak pill to test for leaks. How: Call 401-767-9297.
- Low income: help with energy, water and sewer bills. The Low Income Home Energy & Utility Assistance Program application asks about water and sewer bills as well as energy.
