Sewer
City of Sweet Home sewer from October 16, 2023, for homes with a water meter: a $42.10 monthly customer charge, which includes 300 cubic feet, plus $10.07 per 100 cubic feet above 300 cubic feet. Residential customers without a water meter pay a flat $72.32 a month. For the May to October bills, residential sewer is based on your average water use from November to April.
Other charges on the utility bill
- Stormwater: $4.00 a month
Ways to pay less
- Use less water from November to April to lower summer sewer bills. Residential sewer rates are recalculated every year from your average water use from November to April, and that winter average is your sewer rate for May to October, so summer watering, car washing and pool filling do not raise the sewer part of the bill. How: Conserve water from November to April; questions to City Utility Billing at 541-367-5128.
