City of Lakeville sewer is billed quarterly: an $11.68 base charge plus $5.79 per 1,000 gallons, based on first- or second-quarter water use (depending on location) or actual use; residential customers are billed for at least 5,000 gallons a quarter.

Ways to pay less
- Replacing an old toilet? Get up to $200 back. Lakeville water customers get 50% of the cost back, up to $200 per toilet and up to four toilets, when they replace a toilet with a WaterSense labeled one bought July 13, 2026 through June 30, 2028, while funds last. How: Send the City's online or paper rebate request form with your receipt; the rebate comes as a credit on your quarterly water bill.
- WaterSense sprinkler controller: 50% back. Lakeville water customers get 50% of the cost, up to $200, for replacing a lawn irrigation controller with a WaterSense labeled controller (homeowners associations are not eligible). How: Send the City's rebate request form with your receipt by June 30, 2028, while funds last.
