Firestone property tax: where it goes

A Firestone house pays 0.701% of its taxable value in property tax. For a house at $560,100 of market value, that's about $3,928 a year.

Tax is levied on actual value times the residential assessment rate (6.25% for local government, 7.05% for schools for 2025), times the mill levy.

Weld County's mill levies for the 2026 tax year are certified in December 2026 and billed in January 2027, so the latest adopted levies are the 2025 levies on the bills paid in 2026.
