California Water Service (Hermosa-Redondo)
Cal Water's South Bay Region residential schedule SBR-1-R, which covers its Hermosa-Redondo service area: a monthly service charge by meter size plus four tiers per CCF (1 to 6, 7 to 12, 13 to 16, over 16), rates as filed for October 1, 2026, plus the South Bay Region M-WRAM surcharge of $0.5241 per CCF from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.

- Cal Water uses a combination of local groundwater and surface water bought from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, which comes from the Colorado River and the State Water Project.
- Lead
- In 2023 tap testing the 90th percentile for lead was ND (not detected), and 0 of 30 samples were above the 15 ppb action level.
- Standards
- Cal Water says its annual water quality reports confirm it met all primary and secondary federal and state drinking water standards in 2025.
Sewer
The City of Hermosa Beach sewer service charge, $151.77 for a single-family home in FY 2026-27, is included on the annual property tax bill. The South Bay Cities Sanitation District proposed a charge of $100 per sewage unit (one single-family home) for FY 2026-27.
