The City assigns your hauler (Republic or WM) by zone. The City's 2024–2029 contract sets 2026 collection and recycling at about $15.67, $17.20 or $18.50 a month (30, 60 or 90 gallon), plus a disposal charge that follows the county tipping fee ($10.27 a month for 60 gallons in 2025). That price isn't in the totals; add it from your hauler's bill.
Ways to pay less
- One free bulky item pickup a year. Homes in buildings with one to eight residences that are on the city's trash and recycling contract can dispose of one bulky item per year at no charge; appliances are not included. How: Contact your hauler to request bulky item collection and check what is allowed.
- Get a second recycling cart free. A second recycling cart costs nothing. How: Call your hauler to arrange an additional cart.
