Rochester trash pickup: cost and carts
Garbage service is through a licensed hauler; no hauler price and no stormwater fee are included in the totals. Haulers licensed by Olmsted County.
Garbage and recycling for Rochester homes are arranged with one of the haulers licensed by Olmsted County, who bill you directly with volume-based fees plus the county Environmental Service Charge (29% of the pre-tax bill). No hauler price is in the totals, so your real monthly total will be higher by your hauler's bill. The totals also leave out the city stormwater fee on your RPU bill, whose amount the city does not publish.
