Monthly price is the City's quarterly rate for the black trash cart divided by 3; recycling and organics carts are included.
Ways to pay less
- Seniors 65+: 15% off trash service. Residents aged 65 and older are eligible for a 15% discount on refuse services. How: See the City's Save Money on Services page.
- Free bulky item pickups (City program). Lawndale residents receive six free bulky item collections each year, each up to six bulky items or up to 10 bags of yard waste. How: See the City's Save Money on Services page.
- Free bulky item pickups (Republic Services cart program). Properties that use trash carts get four free special pickups a year for bulky items, up to 64 cubic feet of material each time. How: Call Republic Services at (888) 742-5234 to set up a pickup; place items at the curb only after arranging it.
