Corte Madera property tax: where it goes
A Corte Madera house pays 1.119% of its taxable value in property tax, plus flat charges on the same bill. For a house at $1,755,200 of market value with the homeowners' exemption, that's about $21,581 a year.
Tax is levied on assessed value less exemptions (Prop 13): the countywide 1% tax of $1.00 per $100 of assessed value, plus the voter-approved bond rates the Marin County Board of Supervisors adopted for 2026-27.
