Sewer

Corona's Utilities Department bills homes a residential fixed sewer charge of $50.01 per dwelling a month (effective January 1, 2026); only non-residential customers pay an extra charge for water used beyond 8 units.

Ways to pay less

  • More than four people? Ask for a bigger water budget. Each single-family home gets a default indoor water budget for four people. Homes with more residents, or that repaired a leak, may need a water budget variance. How: Submit a residential variance form to Corona Utilities (online, by mail or email).
  • Water-saving rebates. Corona Utilities lists rebates of up to $175 per premium high-efficiency toilet (up to 8 per property) and up to $250 per weather-based irrigation controller (up to 2), while funding lasts. How: Apply at SoCalWaterSmart.com.
